Delete your Melipo account
You can request the deletion of your Melipo account and its associated data.
Delete your account from Melipo
You can delete your account directly from the app:
- Open Melipo.
- Go to Account.
- Open your account settings.
- Select “Delete my account”.
- Confirm the deletion.

To help us identify your account, please use the email address associated with your Melipo account whenever possible.
Data deleted
When your account is deleted, its associated personal data is deleted, including:
- your Melipo profile
- your personal recipes
- your personal meal history
- your favorites and preferences
- photos associated with your personal content
- your notification settings
- technical data directly associated with your account that is no longer required to operate the service
Data shared with a family
Melipo allows several users to share content within a family.
Deleting your account does not necessarily delete content that belongs to a family or has been shared with other members when that content needs to remain available to them.
Data that personally identifies you is nevertheless deleted or disassociated where applicable.
Retention period
Account deletion requests are processed as soon as possible.
Some data may be retained temporarily when necessary to:
- comply with a legal obligation
- protect the security of the service
- prevent abuse or fraud
- allow technical backups to complete their normal retention cycle
This data is not used for any other purpose during that period.
